The upcoming drama is based off a popular novel of the same name, by Kim Eun-Jung which has been translated and published all across Asia including China, Indonesia, Thailand, and more. The novel garnered even more attention after being produced into a webtoon and the Chinese film (I Married an Anti-Fan (2016)) starring EXO's Chanyeol.
Based on novel "Geuraeseo Naneun Antipaengwa Gyeolhonhaedda" by Kim Eun-Jung (published September 27, 2010 by Terrace Book).
First script reading took place August 20, 2018.
