The American Corporal addresses the American Sergeant as ma'am and salutes her. This is not done in the US Army. Sergeants are addressed "Sergeant" and are not saluted.
During the filming of one of the scenes one of the horses attached to a cart bolted throwing one of the extras to the ground. And the cart collided with one of the horse boxes on site. The extra was unhurt.
