During the play scene, a man removes a red patch in the front of his pants and a slinky dangles out. This is odd, but not overly vulgar, and it will most likely not even be noticed/understood by children.
During Ophelia's insanity, she removes her dress and is shown in only a bra and underwear for a couple of minutes.

It is mentioned how Claudius is a drunk and has a drunken revelry every night. This, however, is not condoned by the play, and the noble characters look down upon those who participate.

The atmosphere is mildly dark and foreboding, but this is in keeping with the play itself.
The appearance of the ghost is a mildly scary scene, but not over the top.
