The Storm

During production, James Van Der Beek and Treat Williams would often make jokes to each other about how bad the script was, with each actor only having done the project for the paycheck. Every time James Van Der Beek improvised a line of dialogue to improve a scene, Treat Williams would act like he was polishing something, when Van Der Beek asked what he was doing, he would remark, "that's polishing a turd."

In both parts, the characters of Dr Jonathan Kirk and Robert Terrell are named as "Dr Kirk Hafner" and "Willam Terrell" respectively.
