Veronica Cartwright, who has been cast in the role of Bun in the series, also appeared in the film The Witches of Eastwick (1987) (on which the series is based) as the character Felicia Alden.
This was the third attempt at a series based on The Witches of Eastwick (1987) following The Witches of Eastwick (1992) and Eastwick (2002). This was the only one to be picked up for a series.
Jaime Ray Newman & Jon Bernthal, who play husband and wife in this show, also starred together in the Marvel Netflix series The Punisher.
The series was officially canceled on 9th November, 2009 when ABC declined to order any additional episodes.
