Trivia
At one point in the movie, the Cool Dog plays the piano. This is achieved with fake dog arms. Originally the director Danny Lerner had the Cool Dog play Mozart's Piano Concerto no 24, but after numerous takes felt that it didn't quite add to the level of realism he was trying to attempt with the scene.

Goofs
(at around 1h 10 mins) Rainy the dog clearly rips the license plate off of the kidnapper's van, but in the next shot the van still has the license plate.
