A familiar family drama, but one loaded with heart and well-earned tears

A companion piece to Herwin Novianto's Disney+ Hotstar previously-released 'Sejuta Sayang Untuknya.' 'Yang tak Tergantikan' is your quintessential big screen family drama that teeters on cliché every now and then and with some story threads are wrapped up too quickly. But, with an ensemble this strong, the movie sparks a winning connection to the characters, makes you feel part of the family and deeply invested in seeing this situation resolved in the best way possible.
