The film includes cameos of figures from all across the Sonic community (from Ian Flynn, Emi Jones, Gigi Dutreix, Tyson Hesse; all up to the Sonic Villains cast and crew members, such as Max Henderson, Acruixicon, and Evelyn Reyes).
Tia Ballard, before taking up the role as Rosy the Rascal in Sonic Villains, played in a bunch of animes for Funamation; some famous examples are "My Hero Academy" and "Fairy Tail."
The Spanish Voice Actor for Sonic in Sonic Boom, Jonatán López, has expressed interest in playing Boom Sonic again for the Spanish dub of Sonic Villains.
Before Arion Rashad starts to animate anything, he likes to do a "warm up". And for Sonic Villains, he likes to animate these "warm ups" to something his fellow cast/crew members make.
