Buck is my Favorite character and I was looking So Forward to this new animation. :(
I knew as soon as it started that something looked Flat about the animation and the voices didn't ring true, because they aren't the original voices, except for Simon Pegg. And the cartoon was more about Eddie and Crash than Buck.
Not a great story, hated the stupid villain and it just wasn't the fun ride with Buck I was expecting.
All I have to do is think about the scene with the cave and the gas from Dawn of the Dinosaurs and it still cracks me up. Sadly, not much funny going on in this new movie. Too bad. : (

Characters sound so off and the art style looks like a tv show over all its boring wife and half my kids knocked out idk why they would make another without the original cast.

This movie ruins the whole saga.
The story is forced and absurd and its development makes no sense, just as the main conflict is unnecessary. The animation is horrible, it is of very low quality despite the fact that the production company is very powerful and millionaire. The character development is poor, the writers completely forgot about important characters from the past movies, and the new characters they introduce don't make much sense for them to be included, just as there are no indications of at what point in the timeline of the entire saga this sixth installment is located. The humor is creepy, the story gets boring at the end as it's predictable and not surprising or different, the main conflict doesn't make any sense.
It's a lousy movie plot-wise and visually ugly, it's just not worth it.

The first 3 Ice Age movies are great family movies that kids and adults can enjoy alike. I rewatched them recently, so I don't think it's my nostalgia speaking.
This, in my opinion, is the worst Ice Age movie (for now). After the previous movie from 2016 I didn't think that was possible, but here we are.
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild is a genuinely bad movie, and it doesn't help that it's not geared towards a family. I didn't feel a thing while watching this. Show it to some kid who is 12y old or younger, and you will maybe get some reaction or laugh from them. Adults will not find anything in here, only unanswered questions and disappointment.
Animation is terrible. Ice Age 2, which is 16 years old right now, has better animation than this. In some ways, even Ice Age 1 looks better. I know that this is "straight to steaming" movie, but I don't care, we are talking about Disney here.

Disney needs to give this franchise back to its rightful owner: blue sky studios. This would've gotten a 1 because everything is god awful. Animation, new voice actors, the villain, the story, and the fact that Buck isn't even the main character!! The ONLY reason it gets a 2 is because Justina Machado voices one of the new characters. Disney, please hand it back to BSS. Because this movie was just a bunch of BS.
Update: actually did give it a 1 now. I got 40 mins in and it made my tv have a breakdown and now I have to take it back to Best Buy. Should be called "the ice age adventures of toronavirus (tv variant of coronavirus).

So you've made another movie but without the original artists and voice actors?!!!!!! Pa-thetic! Why why why?! Only one person came back that was an original voice actor.
As a huge fan of the original Ice Age, it was sad to see this franchise go down hill. The final nail of the coffin was Collision Course, but now, with Disney buying Fox, Disney made this garbage. I did not have high expectations, but still watched it because "how bad could it be?" Well, it was AWFUL. Firstly, the animation is hideous. I get that the animators probably tried with the small budget (maybe) but, the movements and background were really bad. The main characters are dull and generic, the comedy is very cringy. For an example, at the beginning, Crash and Eddie do this very cringy montage of wearing rich clothes and doing dances or something (I mostly forgot and don't wanna look back at the dumpster fire of this movie) Simon Pegg gives a very soulless performance as Buck in this movie, he just sounds tired and done with this franchise (no hate to Simon Pegg). Also the villain (yes there is a villain) is garbage, don't know how else to say it, he just sucks. And I can go on and on, just, don't watch this movie. It'll be the worst 82 minutes of you're life. And I watched Collision Course, twice. (Sorry if this review is poorly constructed, I just, can't waste much longer writing this review on this garbage movie)

None of the actors we have grown to love voicing these characters are in this movie. All new cast, falls completely flat. The storyline is fine, the artistry is perfection, but without those OG voices, it just doesn't doesn't move me. I didn't crack a smile once during this movie.

Movie was cute, like always but dissatisfied not the real actors voices were there, just missing something there, sad. One falls in live with these cartoon characters and when the voices of the actors are changed it just isn't the same character. I rather see a movie with new characters to fit the new voices, rather than try to make due with new voices. I was really surprised and disappointed.

There's little here to enjoy.
The animation is noticeably bad, it looks like a cheap 2010 straight to DVD sequel.
The story is dull.
The voices are poor imitations.
Need I go on?
Some young kids may get enjoyment, like if they're 5 or so. Anyone else will just think it's awful.

I just loved it. The portrayal of beautiful life lessons with fun, emotional and action elements together is just spot on. A perfect balance, perfect watch time.

Not too bad but the voices are not the same so it's hard to actually enjoy the movie. It does have the same humor but without the original voices, it's more of a knockoff.
Please remake it with the original cast.

If Disney wants to buy everything that's fine but the least they could do is keep the original cast. The new voices are just terrible (no offense to the actors, their voice just didn't fit the characters).
Nothing worst than having high pitch fake voices it makes the shows/movies sounds insanely kiddish. Sid's voice just broke my heart and Crash and Eddy's voice were just plainly annoying. I really wanted Ice Age to continue, I was looking forward to watch this but replacing the cast was a big mistake. Just terrible.

Manny, Diego, and Sid, sorry guys, I love you for making my childhood awesome and emotional. But this recent movie destroyed your legacy and completely destroyed every other character including our mighty Buck.
From where should I start? I know!
From the beginning where I heard Ellie's voice! Then Manny's, Sid's, Diego's I realized this movie gonna be a trash. And I was correct.
Disney, please let golden old movies alone. Do not ruin them for the sake of money!

This review does not have spoilers - because it has already been spoiled.
Slow, meaningless, dry, painful to watch. My two little sons just left it within 10 minutes, because it was so boring, so pointless.

The animation style borders along the uncanny valley. Character movements are awkward, giving viewers the impression that this is a rough draft and not the final product. Voice actors are distractingly different- with the exception of Buck. This movie plays like a first year animation student's final project. It's like Disney went "eh, let's just turn it in and take the D-"
Poor animation and boring script... I loved the previous flicks and have watched them over n over again... But this one's such a blunder. Can't remember if I felt funny once at any point. Also it didn't feel like an adventure.

This was a cute story, but the only original voice character was Buck. It would have been better if all the original voice characters were in it. My 9 year old loved it, which honestly is what really matters.

I was so excited when i saw they had a movie just for buck! But this was bad!! ALL of the voice actors are different, except for buck, the animation looks like they tried too hard to make it look more realistic, they kidded it down waaay too much, the plot has some good potential but just isnt good.
They finally messed it up and went too far. Everything is just so extra. Dont waste your money.

Accidentally saw there a new part of the Ice Age!
It was great to relax with an excellent and beloved by all film. Basically, it takes you back to your crazy adventurous childhood where you can dream and believe in BIG!
Looking forward to the next parts of the Cult Movie.

How wonderful it is that the crazy characters of Ice Age are back with a new adventure. Having watched the Ice Age movies from the beginning, I am familiar with their sarcastic and humorous personalities. It's almost like hanging out with old friends.
Crash (Vincent Tong) and Eddie (Aaron Harris) crave adventure and feel Elli (Domonique Jenning) is preventing them from living their "best life." Eddie and Crash leave the safety of their pack and find their way to the Lost World. Not realizing the actual dangers of the Lost World, Eddie and Crash unexpectedly become reunited with Buck Wild when he has to rescue them from unruly dinosaurs. Buck Wild is in the middle of trying to restore harmony to the Lost World and doesn't have the time to deal with the Opossum brothers. Eddie and Crash are oblivious to the risks involved in staying but have no choice because the cave entrance was blocked. Together with Buck Wild, Eddie, Crash set on a quest to restore the peace of the Lost World.
With the talented cast, visual and animation department, director John Donkin produced an action-adventure film that embraced the Ice Age saga and introduced a fresh outlook.
The music by Batu Sener brought life into the action scenes by absorbing the person into the movie. Danger, drama, and humor were not only told through dialogue but also musical notes. The animation team directed by Marshal Fels Elliot seamlessly brought all the original characters back onto the screen while at the same time introducing new friends and foes. The details and color of the animated plants, animals, and birds captured the moviegoer's attention from start to finish.
Teamwork, family, and courage are themes throughout Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. The pack realized that family is family even if you are apart. Love for each other doesn't change just because you have added distance. Change is not something to be afraid of, and taking risks to find your true happiness takes courage.
I rate Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild 3 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 4 to 13. I would have rated the movie higher if it had included all the main characters I love and did not have so much dialogue. Adults will also enjoy watching this action-adventure film. Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild premieres on Disney Plus on Friday, January 28, 2022. By Calee N., KIDS FIRST!

It's not the original voice actors which is one reason why I find this terrible, not to mention it's just plain cringy and not good don't waste your time.
