Everything is below or just about average. Comparing to recent downfall of Bollywood in all departments , comedy is decent just because of Anil Kapoor and Manish Paul .

Apart from them Neetu ji's performance might help it but there is nothing new .

Cliched varun acting won't last long for sure.

Typical bollywood story with same repeativeness. The amount of songs put in the movie tend to get irritative. Could have been done in a much much effective manner. The only thing appreciateable is the quality of acting and humor during the first half of the the movie. The second half does injustice on the first half. Very monotonous and boring. The loss of momentum in the second half further adds to disappointment level The Khan era or in other words golden era of bollywood was really a dimension beyond which seems unachievable after witnessing such continous disappointments.

In conclusion, the downfall continues...........

A perfect mixture of romance, comedy, and family emotions. Second half is better if you sail through first. Humour & emotions at regular intervals to keep the audience at their seats. Acting wise Anil Kapoor & neetu Kapoor are good. Varun still need to improve! It deals the serious divorce issue through humour & comedy. Nothing special but a one time watch with your family.

This movie tries to be a family entertainer but utterly fails there. It can be related by a very small section of society. The movie is out of sync with reality and creates situation out of thin air. Time waste.

The story and screenplay of the movie is very good. Very good entertaining movie. The first half of the movie is awesome in one word. The last half of the movie is a little deep and a little emotional. There are many comedy scenes in the movie that will make you laugh. However, the biggest contributor to the success of this movie is Anil Kapoor's acting and his comedy scenes. There are no boring scenes but the 5 to 10 minute part of the movie could have been cut.

director raj mehta after his success in good news made his mark in this movie too..the movie is meant for all age groups from grand parents to young's..starcast has been appropriately selected for all age groups from prajakta to Anil Kapoor

The movie goes in good motion with the divorce subject and is nicely blend with humour and emotions..every single scene is so colourful with electrifying background music..all the songs are hit catchy and are on top charts..the songs are made so glamorous with tacky dance moves..the sets ,costumes ,aesthetics are purely as per dharma's culture

Marvellous acting by Varun with glamorous queen Kiara in some scenes Kiara has acted above all the stars and she looks so gorgeous that you only keep seeing her Manish is the new comedian from television to cinema..anil Kapoor is actually the main hero his acts,energy ,looks ,expressions,cannot be narrated in words a big bow to the legend..neetuji was a little difficult after so many years

Those who hating this movie just because of production house and having star kid are just propganda guys. All actors did excellent job. This one of the best family drama i saw in recent year. It is made on very serious subject which everyone consciously or unconsciously ignoring. Just give this movie a try with open heart and you will amaze.

Dharma Productions is known for their rich family drama and have made many in the past but I have to say Jug Jug Jeeyo is not as good as many film of the same genre from their own production house but is just decent.

This film is about a family with a looming threat of two divorces and what drama follows to get things right is all this film is about.

First of all, I saw many people getting jealous of the glamour in this film. If you are having problems with that, it's simply cuz you are poor . Dharma productions never really shows middle class families and if you are new to watching films, please make a note of it instead of criticising .

Next, talking of the execution. The film definitely shines at places and definitiely falls flat at many places. The humor or comedy parts is where it falls apart. Raj Mehta 's previous venture Good News was far more humorous than this. Some jokes work, many don't. In some serious scenes, i felt Manish Paul interfering often was nagging. The place where this film shines is when there is serious conversations or fights between characters.

Other than that, there a few songs in this film which I felt mostly were good but won't be remembered in a long run unlike Dharma productions 2nd last venture SherShaah.

Performances. Varun Dhawan genuinely shines in serious roles. I think this dude should do less of comedy and more of these serious roles because he can perform well as he has in serious roles in October and Badlapur. Kiara Advani is decent too. The real show stealers are Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor in the temple scene and her scene with Kiara was fantastic while Anil dominates the entire film. Manish Paul is an unnecessary addition while Prajakta has nothing much to do.

Overall, a decent one time watch. Easily this can be watched with your family as there are no vulgar scenes and all.

Bollywood, Nepowood is completely out of creativity, this movie would have been reasonable on the OTT but not a cinema material. Varun Dhawan is full of overacting. Anil Kapoor is good. Song after every 10 minutes. Seriously, Grow up Bollywood.

A flawless entertaining Bollywood film for a fun family outing is what this movie is after a long time. The storyline is designed to keep the audience glued to the screen all while it makes you laugh, makes you feel emotions, and love everyone in this family drama.

The music is enjoyable and mesmerizing to watch on the big screen. The best element of this film is its pace which is fast and doesn't for a second loses its charm all while it maintains its emotional depth.

Also, this is the movie where Kiara Advani shines as an actor, storyline presents a perfect opportunity for her to showcase her acting talent. And if there's anyone this movie cannot be complete with then it's Anil Kapoor. Anil Kapoor owns this film and it's his film and he glows throughout. The man keeps you engaged throughout the journey.

It's a perfectly made film that's meant to be experienced on the big screen.

The story could be more interesting, but the acting was quite good which convince me to give it a good rating. Overall, not a very good movie, but you will enjoy.

Good movie with all predicted drama and very bad climax. The humor is good, diologues is better and music is average. All acted well but I personally loved the comic timing of Maniesh Paul, Anil Kappor as usual very energetic and the lifeline of the whole movie, Varun little overshadowed by the Anil Kappor but he is good. Kiara add lots of glamor, Neeta Kappor shines in her frame. Storyline is average with very bad ending. Perfect family film with comedy and emotion after so long but you can skip.

Kuku & Naina wants divorce where they decide to do it after kuku's sisters wedding which is in India where kuku is about to discuss this with his father & he comes to know that his father is about to divorce his mother after the wedding, hearing this kuku tries to manage things now what happens next is shown in this film

Varun Dhawan has done decent job Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor & Neetu Kapoor is delight to watch Manish Paul has left his presence whenever he is on screen rest Tisca Chopra & Prajakta are ok ok at their places music of this film is nice, Songs like nach punjaban, nain ta heere, jaise saawan are the songs you will hear again, direction by Raj Mehta is nice frame work is awesome at some places story by anurag singh is fresh as couple from different age zone face separation is new thing to showcase.

All & all fun film to watch with family.

The premise of Jug Jugg Jeeyo is downright impractical to start with, but that's the USP of the movie. Disgruntled with their married life of five years, Kukoo (Varun Dhawan) and Naina (Kiara Advani) have only one ask from each other - a divorce. They must travel back to Punjab to attend Kukoo's sister's wedding, and decide that soon after the function, they will inform their respective parents. Both maintain that happily married act until one night, Kukoo discovers that his father Bheem Saini (Anil Kapoor) is going through a mid-life crisis, has a girlfriend (Tisca Chopra) who apparently brings back the spark in his life, and will divorce Geeta (Neetu Kapoor), Kukoo's mother. Unable to digest what Kukoo just heard about Bheem's unthinkable plan, his plans to break his own news takes a backseat as he is confused about how a 35-year old marriage can have a breakdown.

What follows is a complete roller-coaster ride during the wedding, where truths have to emerge and a shocked Geeta has to learn about her own impending divorce and that of their son's at the same time. Shaken out of her life in a cosy cocoon and in total disbelief, Geeta is all right to face her own marriage going kaput, she won't allow her son's marriage to break down as she feels that Kukoo and Naina must give it another shot at understanding each other before taking the extreme step.

The above must all sound very sombre, but on the silver screen, director Raj Mehta spins a different fabric of narrating the peculiar situation in a fun backdrop. Anil Kapoor plays out his scheme with a genuinely precise comic timing and expressions. Neetu Kapoor carries herself with tremendous gravitas with a tailor made role for her, that's the bang opposite of all that her husband is. Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani make for an adorable couple that's wading through their own personal issues, expectations of each other and yet grappling with the trouble brewing in the family. Both make their marks very well. The standout comedy is however, delivered by Manish Paul (who plays Gurpreet, Naina's elder brother and Kukoo's friend) - he is a hoot! The music, dialogues, story-writing and cinematography are all the ace ingredients of this venture that you don't want to miss.

Very predictable movie with the plot taken from 20-30 yrs back. Dont know why anybody would make such a stupid movie. Its not even a family entertainer.

Great 👍👍👍 Acting is too good especially Varun and Anil Kapoor. Emotionally heart touching movie. The way they take story to climax is superb. Indian cinemas only want commercial movies but this movie deserve more audiences.

Director Raj Mehta reunites with his Good Newwz actor Kiara Advani in his latest outing, Jugjugg Jeeyo; a film about marriages. If you look at it chronologically, Raj Mehta's next film should be about the stage prior to marriage. Jokes apart, this ensemble comedy will keep you entertained.

Kuku & Naina arrive in India for Kuku's sister's wedding. But Kuku & Naina are set to get divorced and they plan to wait till after the wedding. But in the days that lead up to the wedding, other marital issues crop up in the family that require their attention.

One of the issues with the film is its length. At 150 minutes, JJ does test your patience. But that is just a minor hiccup. The casting is pretty good and that is the film's strength. Anil S Kapoor and Maniesh Paul standout. They have the best dialogues in the film. Varun Dhawan & Kiara Advani give us commendable performances. Prajakta koli makes her big screen debut and Neetu Kapoor makes a comeback.

Jugjugg Jeeyo is another win for Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Barring Kalank and SOTY2, Dharma has given us some memorable films in the past few years. JJ benefits from the casting and the mature (and the light hearted) take on divorces.

A boring movie with useless actors specially varun. Why do they make it, who asks for it. Waste of Anil kapoor and Neetu kapoor in this movie. Return my money back.

After a long a decent movie from Bollywood All the star cast did their best job and have done a good acting in any manner. Whole family can enjoy this film. Full paisa vasool.

Routine relationship drama packaged with good music, comedy and well directed awkward scenes that happen in every household. Every dramatic emotion needs to be expressed within four walls. There's one scene a son insults his father publicly. This should not be an example for anyone. No matter how bad your parents are, they deserve respect even if you don't like them. That's a lesson we should all learn from this movie!

This is yet another typical Bollywood movie (drama types) not worth wasting your time on. Something normal is being cast as something extraordinary which is totally unwarranted and part of PR exercise. Long review short - Nothing good is expected out of DP, just that people are falling for PR traps like it has 9 on 10 rating ..well my foot. At Max, it is just worth 3/10 nothing more than that. Again repeating, don't fall for these PR stunts.

What's Good- Just started watching and got engaged throughout! It has high entertainment quotient to keep you engaged till the end.

Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh are charismatic for their roles. Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani have nicely performed. Manish Paul and Prajakta Koli have also good in their supporting roles.

Music is good and goes with storytelling.

What's not good- Some plots are typically filmy and illogical.
