Paurashpur is celebrating the sixth marriage of King Bhadrapratap. But it is marked by some dark moments. Boris warns new queen Umanglata, whose handmaiden Rukma is speared by Chandrasen, and an intruder arrives at the palace.
The intruder has slain dozens of guards and kidnapped Umanglata. Queen Meeravati wants Kala to replace Umanglata and approaches her with the offer of becoming queen.
Meeravati tricks Kala into marrying King Bhadrapratap instead of Prince Ranveer. Boris is greeted by an acquaintance. Meanwhile, Prince Aaditya enters the King's private chambers dressed as an assassin.
Kala is sentenced to death after being caught with Prince Ranveer. As she is to be executed, she is saved. Prince Ranveer looks for Kala among corpses but finds someone else. Bhanu stops Prince Aaditya from killing King Bhadrapratap.
Boris tries to humiliate the king, but he insults Boris instead. Kala wakes up at Boris' place. She tries to escape to reunite with Ranveer. Meeravati slits Bhanu's throat. Ranveer returns to the castle in a trunk and reveals things.
Prince Aaditya grieves for Bhanu. Meeravati is about to be burnt alive by Bhadrapratap for preserving queen Nayantara's corpse. The news reaches Boris' haven and the former queens decide to save Meeravati.
Boris and his army attack Paurashpur to save the queen. When Boris finds out that Meeravati killed Bhanu, he decides to avenge his death, but fails when he gets stabbed in the back.
