In this essentially existentialist movie with little narrative plot, Marcela Lordy's direction and Simone Spoladori's performance are extremely skilled and successful in transmiting character Lóri's always uncomfortable feelings, melancholic loneliness, lack of personal connections despite frentic sexual life and the work as schoolteacher. The big appartment in front of the beach is a place for cultivating bad thoughts. The film is well made, very well filmed and edited, although sluggish in the beginning and a little hard to follow as the character herself is not the most engaging one, closed in her depressive self denial and enduring closeness to life.
