A fabulous conclusion.
Helene decides to confide in Monsignor Renard, he tries to help her, and has another serious matter to deal with.
Absolutely first class, for me, this was equal to the quality of the first episode, the last two were about day to day life, this one had resolutions, answers and some real meat on the bone.
Dramatic and heart breaking in equal measure, some real surprises here.
Etienne's story was awesome, Monaghan giving his best in this series, and he was terrific, apart from those trousers.
I thought Drexler was awesome here, a fascinating character, conflicted, but of course shows his true colours.
Monsters, there's no other word for these people, they were monsters, it's no wonder history judges them so harshly, and rightly so.
What a pity it ended here, this was fantastic, 10/10.
