- TriviaIn the conclusion of the fight between the Operators and Dan, he is seen on a camera after having broke free of his captors telling Harper, anyone he sends comes back in a bag, anyone he sends after his daughter comes back in pieces.
There are GPS Coordinates in the top left of the display of the camera which are in GPS Decimal form. Converting these to Degrees Minutes Seconds reveals it is the actual site where the filming took place. The Danby State Forest in New York State.
- GoofsWhen Dan rams the Agent's SUV, you can see extensive damage to the front right corner of the vehicle, including the now broken wheel bearing. An impact at that speed would have also deployed the airbags, which in turn would have disabled the fuel pump and the engine computer. They would not have been able to drive off for either of these reasons.
- Quotes
Dr. Howard: Looks like you recently underwent a full preventative screening here. Yeah, we got physical, cognitive and full labs. Don't usually do the cognitive without a request.
Dan Chase: Yeah, I requested it.
Dr. Howard: Oh, okay. Um... are you experiencing any symptoms?
Dan Chase: Mm... isn't that the nature of cognitive impairments that you aren't cognizant of them?
Dr. Howard: Not always.
Dan Chase: [exhales] Well not never, either. No, I've not been experiencing any symptoms.

I have no idea what attracted Bridges to the material, but presumably it stands as sort of a loyalty test: does the gentle viewer love the respected actor so much that he or she will pledge allegiance to such an uninteresting product? In the world of Cable TV, "Banshee" and in movies "John Wick" and its sequels brought over-the-top violence and death to an unprecedented stylishness, but "The Old Man" apparently intends to bore us to death.
