- TriviaPriyanka Chopra Jonas did not want to do the kiss in the film. So she had the director shoot the entire scene without the kiss until she could make up her mind. However Shahid Kapoor was a gentleman about it and said that he'd only do it if she felt comfortable, so she finally agreed.
- GoofsIn the opening shot, Charlie is shown to be standing amidst railway tracks, beside whom a fast long-distance train passes. The area is said to be Cotton Green, Mumbai, through a text below. However, unlike shown in the movie, the area around Cotton Green does not have so many railway lines but, only two. Besides, no long distance trains pass through Cotton Green.
- Crazy creditsThe song "Pehli Baar mohabbat ki" pictured on Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra is shown alongside the credits.

Kaminey is one of those gems which is churned out by the the Bollywood film industry maybe once in five years. If it has to be described in one word, I think 'Extraordinary' would be a good one. Nobody would disagree with the fact that Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have both established themselves as fine actors as they delivered the performances of their career. Vishal Bhardawaj once again proves why he is counted amongst the elegant filmmakers that India has to offer. This film will surely help Bollywood break out of the barricades of outdated film making, and shift towards a more contemporary technique of pleasing audiences. Vishal Bhardawaj himself will agree that Kaminey is his most outstanding film till date.
