After having shot the short, director Hans Augustave was randomly introduced to the Post-Production Sound Mixer Edward Morris II. After having started to mix the sound, Augustave found out the Morris is cousins with Elijah McClain another young Black man who was killed at the hands of the police, and whose story was made prominent while the film was in post-production.
