Thittam Irandu (Plan2/B) is a film carrying social message disguised as a crime thriller. It is indeed a well crafted film.
It starts off with a crime and an investigation following it, spear headed by a cop, played by Aiswarya Rajesh. She did carry almost entire film on her shoulders, with grace devoid of usual shortcomings in female led films- over dramatization, poor dialogues and a line on women empowerment. She never looked prettier than this.
Supporting cast including Gokul, Jeeva etc were good and it stood smoothly with the plot.
There are two parellel plot lines converging in the end, giving the viewers a surprise that is both expected and unexpected at the same time- though a social issue, the climax was indeed a total let down if viewed as a 'crime film'. Yet there is no better thrilling way to keep audience hooked enough to convey the social message.
As a hardcore fan of crime genre, this although has a surprise at the end, was quite a disappoinment for me. Personal opinion 6/10.
