Ash Ketchum : [talking to Palkia] Palkia, can't you see what you've done? You've destroyed the whole town, all the Pokemon. You bring this town back to the way it was!
Dawn : You've gotta do it! Palkia, please.
Pikachu : Pikachu!
[Palkia pauses, then releases an energy burst that restores the town back to normal]

Ash Ketchum : [mourning Darkrai] I'm sorry, Darkrai. I should've known. You were just trying to do the right thing.
Pikachu : [sadly] Pika.
[Ash and Dawn begin to cry, knowing that they may never see Darkrai again]

Pikachu : [the group is walking away when Pikachu sees something] Pikachu?
[Ash and the others turn around and gasp. They run back to the balcony. It is revealed that a shadow of Darkrai has appeared on the cliff side. Everyone turns around to see Darkrai standing on top of the Space-Time Towers]
Piplup : Piplup!
Dawn : Darkrai!
Ash Ketchum : Darkrai, you're okay!
[Everyone stares in happiness. Alice cuddles next to Tonio. The camera zooms in on Darkrai as his eye glows and the screen fades to black]

Dawn : [walking to Alamos Town] Shouldn't we have gotten there by now?
Brock : [reading his map] Almost. And there it is! Alamos Town, right over that hill!
[Ash and Dawn run toward the hill]
Ash Ketchum : I'll bet you as soon we get there we'll fight some great battles!
Pikachu : Pikachu!
Dawn : I've got to get ready for the contest! So many dresses to wear and so little time!
[Ash notices something]
Ash Ketchum : Hold on!
[they stop at the top of the hill and they see that Alamos Town is all the way on the other side of the lake]
Brock : [looks at the map] Looks like we're on the wrong shore.
Pikachu : Pika!
Dawn : [slumps over] And I'm exhausted.
Ash Ketchum : [slumps over] Ugh. Me too.
Alice : [off-screen] Would you all like a lift?
[Ash and co. look around in confusion]
Pikachu : Pika?
[all of them look up to see a hot air balloon floating above them. Alice is sitting in the basket with her Chimchar. They stare in shock and joy]
Alice : Hi there!

Alice : [after the balloon is hit by air disturbances] Is everybody okay?
Ash Ketchum : Yeah.
Pikachu : Pika!
Brock : What *was* that?
Alice : I suppose it could've been the air current, but it sure was strange. Sorry if you guys got scared. I know what, I'll give you the grand tour!
Dawn : Yeah!
Ash Ketchum : That'd be great!
Pikachu : Pika!
