Miller (The Tested), returns with this latest installment featuring directors talking about, well, directing. As part of its New Voices in Black Cinema series, BAMcinematek will screen tomorrow The Tested, Russell Costanza’s debut feature that was developed as part of the Ifp Narrative Lab. The film is tough and ambitious New York drama, the kind of film Sidney Lumet might have made at one point, and it deals with both institutional racism and the struggle to achieve forgiveness. It also boasts an amazing performance by Aunjanue Ellis (pictured). This is a film that has flown a bit too much under the radar and is well worth checking out. Back in December, we told you that Irrfan Khan (In Treatment) had joined the cast of Marc Webb‘s forthcoming, as yet Untitled Spider-Man Reboot as Nels Van Atter, alongside Annie Parisse (Fringe, The Tested) who is playing Van Atter’s wife. Nels Van Atter was rumored to be the film’s second villain.

In the comics, Van Atter was Mendel Stromm’s research assistant, and an employee of Norman Osborne. He was used in high-tech experiments, and served as a test subject for a chemical that was developed by Osborne and Stromm, which turned him into a red beast with fangs and claws known as Proto-Goblin.

In a recent interview with Indian Express, Irrfan Khan revealed that he won’t be a masked villain, nor will he be turning into a monster in the film.

Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Social Network) is playing the title role, Emma Stone (Zombieland, The Croods, Friends With Benefits) with her co-starring role as Peter Parker‘s object of romantic attraction, his significant Gwen Stacy. Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill, Neverland), to be mentioned, is playing the not named bad guy.

A new video clip from the Wednesday, January 26 can be viewed below. And that’s not all… new photos from the set of “Spider-Man” Remake were posted online, showing other view at the super-glue-man on the move. For the period of filming in La the stuntman costumed in Spider-Man was pictured bending on a truck from the side part of the vehicle, with climbing equipment fastened on his back.

Earlier this month, Campbell Scott (Damages, Royal Pains) and Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, William Vincent) joined the cast of director Marc Webb’s as yet Untitled Spider-Man Reboot. The pair were cast as Peter Parker’s parents. Irrfan Khan (In Treatment) and Annie Parisse (Fringe, The Tested) were also cast in the film, as Nels Van Atter and Van Atter’s wife, respectively.

Now, Chris Zylka (Kaboom) confirmed on twitter that he has been cast as Peter Parker’s high school nemesis, Eugene “Flash” Thompson. Flash is a star high school football player and classmate of Parker who mercilessly bullies “Puny Parker”, and ironically admires Spider-Man.

The Untitled Spider-Man Reboot is slated to hit theaters on July 3rd, 2012.

While you probably haven't seen any of the young actors before, the older actors have substantial bodies of work. Ty Olsson's long list of credits include 2012, X2 and Chronicles of Riddick. Wendell Pierce is a regular on HBO's "Treme" and was a series regular on "Numb3rs" and "The Wire."

Summit Entertainment has added eight names to "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" cast ensemble. These new additions are Olga Fonda ("Love Hurts"), Janelle Froehlich ("Hacienda Heights"), Masami Kosaka ("The Runaways"), Sebastiao Lemos (Brazilian TV series "Forca-Tarefa"), Amadou Ly ("The Tested", "The Bridge"), Ty Olsson ("2012 (2009)"), Wendell Pierce ("Ray") and Carolina Virguez (Spanish TV series "Matalobos").

Summit says the newly announced cast members will take supporting roles but does not detail their characters. Fonda and co join a bunch of actor who were earlier cast as the Covens and Nomads. Meanwhile, Mackenzie Foy is tapped to portray Edward Cullen and Bella Swan's daughter, Renesmee.

According to Collider, "Breaking Dawn" should be currently filming in Louisiana. Last week, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been spotted hitting the set in Baton Rouge.

Summit Entertainment have just sent us a press release detailing some new developments in the casting for their penultimate movie, Twilight: Breaking Dawn. We have the official press release below but the crux is that those joining Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be Olga Fonda, Janelle Froehlich, Masami Kosaka, Sebastiao Lemos, Amadou Ly, Ty Olsson, Wendell Pierce and Carolina Virguez.
