Great portrayal of a pretty realistic situation. Glad that this tough topic is being brought up. The brilliance is in the end when some women suffered and some enjoyed: the director tried to expose the truth, took a neutral position, and not send any message of blaming who is right or wrong.
What rings the bell and from my knowledge, is real:
- pageant turned escorts: extremely common in all societies both rich and poor
- Saudis looking for paid sxx are vicious and hungry, yes, that's definitely true
- be honest before marriage, don't marry someone you haven't spent enough time with or it might explode in your face
- don't let anyone tape you having sxx; they must be destroyed even so; that stuff bites anyone back. It's very sad these things tend to hurt women most.
- don't fall for quick money. 100% of the time the job is a scam or something way beyond your comfort zone (human trafficking is REAL)
- don't trust anyone who has betrayed you even once.
