Many of the characters are named after actors starring in films produced by Euan Lloyd. These included Moore (Roger Moore from 'The Wild Geese' and 'The Sea Wolves'), Peck (Gregory Peck from 'The Sea Wolves') and Collins (Lewis Collins from 'Who Dares Wins' aka 'The Final Option').
The film reunites Ian Ogilvy and Billy Murray from producer Jonathan Sothcott's film We Still Steal The Old Way.
