Throughout the series, CIA officer Beneventi, an ex-marine, always has his index finger resting on the trigger of his handgun when drawn. This is not standard practice due to accidental discharge. He's predominately in civilian areas. Even his partner and occasional team mates observe 'finger off the trigger' safety protocols.
