While not an official entry into the series, the short film Hide (2019), directed by Joshua Walquist, stars Lawson Nuland and Brian T. Alexander playing their titular roles from The Misadventures of Nick and Jermaine. The short inspired the characters in the series and acted as a sort of pilot.
