Did you know
- TriviaThe movie received an HD DVD release in 2009 as opposed to Blu-ray. While some found this move a bit strange it was a good marketing strategy for a microbudgeted indie zombie film since it would garner more press. The irony is that HD DVD is a dead format and was being resurrected one last time by a zombie film. It will be the last HD DVD ever released.
- GoofsDuring the meeting to commence the exercise of releasing the toxin on the public the boom mic and a crew member are visible in a reflection from art work used on the set.
- Quotes
Sean: [Chris and Sean are about to make a run for the car, when Chris gets second thoughts] This is not the time to be changing things man
Chris: I know, I just think we need a back-up plan is all.
Sean: What do you suggest?
Chris: The Marquee.
Sean: The Marquee?
Chris: Yeah the Marquee, you know the big fucking sign in the parking lot. Its 8 or 9 feet off the ground, we could climb up and be out of reach.
Sean: Well you better pray they can't jump or fly because otherwise we're screwed.
- Alternate versionsOriginal Cut, theatrical version - this versions contains a different score, and in addition so throw away scenes during the theater search. It also combined two scenes into one in that while dealing with one of the injured survivors, one of the healthy ones taunted the zombies awaiting the survivors outside. This version also contained a lot more language and a completely different color scheme.

During the top secret exercise the infected citizens begin to convert each resident into a sort of living zombie, until the remaining town residents, 6 total strangers, are trapped inside a movie theater cineplex.
Direct to video taped on video and horribly acted. There is not plot at all. Tests go awry and people are suddenly zombies. Nothing new. Except that nearly half the movie is over before you see a zombie. And idiotically, when a gazillion zombies are rioting, an army guy actually repeatedly says "I got the shot. I got the shot." Uh, it would be hard to miss -- there are so many!
It's really a bad movie
