Whole movie is just boring. Nothing funny about this and nothing interesting. Don't waste your time like I did mine.

The movie is split into different parts and shows young people at a house party among friends who share a mutual past. One girl is moonlighting as an Uber driver and who isn't part of the clique. The dynamics of hanging out, dating, "adulting", and trying to keep each other in the loop are the main nuances of the film. This movie is a good watch if you enjoy the type of easy going party flicks without any depth. The plot is interesting, but don't expect complex thought experiments or deep structures.
I was quite surprised to see the filming location being Austin, TX. Not sure how often that happens in my kodi watchlist and Austin is one of my all-time favorite places and it is great to see this town in a movie.

Omg, the 8/9/10 ratings are ridic shills, this indie film by inexperienced nobody producer/writer/director Will Bakke is a wasted effort, should've been released straight to TV via MTV or VH1 given its throw-away teen/YA emo-drama. This past Covid-tainted year has just been a dumping ground of pathetic, unworthy films and it hasn't stopped yet apparently. Just add this to the increasing pile of rubbish.

I don't write reviews often but these up and coming actors deserve the review! This was entertaining and the acting was great! I can't wait to see more of these people! I especially loved the character of August, she really is all of us, super relatable! 10/10 recommend!
Ok, full disclosure, I went in not expecting much and it definitely was a very pleasant surprise. I guess that's how it is with me, the more hype the tougher I am so this was a extremely cool find.

I was amazed the whole movie how stunning the shots were. Reminded me of other great movies. All of it was just stunning.
The acting and the cast was great. Didn't like the plot or the dialogue that much - so this is definitely not for everyone.
All in all a fun movie that was filmed/edited well.

Interesting film that shows you can make a fun movie about young adults without being it full of cussing, drugs and sex. Great characters and a plot that keeps you guessing about where it's going. And among all the craziness, there are some life lessons in there.

Bakke & Riot Studios first crossed my horizon years ago with their fantastic debut, Believe Me, and I've been dying ever since to see what they came out with next. This film did not disappoint me. In some ways, it's less of a film and more a series of three interconnected "short stories" in visual form. But the three interconnecting vignettes were each equally engaging and kept me invested in the characters and their problems throughout the narrative. Add to that some meaningful themes its grappling with related to coming-of-age and passing from the college life to the adult world, and this was a solid film that I rather enjoyed. Time will tell if it's as memorable as Believe Me, but it's a solid film in its own right.

Incredible film. Captures Austin extremely well. Captures what it's like to be in your 20's extremely well!

It's pretty rare to find a movie like this one. It is light-hearted, has an intriguing story line and funny. It is also a clean movie, which is about impossible to find these days. There is a perfect amount of romance and drama. The humor is perfect for millennials. I think y'all could have capitalized more on the humor of the avg. Blogger girl.

I really enjoyed how well each character's insecurity was displayed in a humorous way. It definitely kept my attention the whole way through!

The Get Together is an easy and fun watch. The cast, directing, color theory, and soundtrack makes this indie film a must watch. Thought the filmmakers really captured Austin, TX well and the script was funny.
