Olivia Cooke (Pixie) revealed in a 2020 interview that her 'gateway phrase' to get into her Irish accent for a scene was "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?" from the song 'Don't Cha' by the Pussycat Dolls and would also ask fellow castmate Daryl McCormack to help her with her lines in an Irish accent, with him being naturally Irish.
Daryl McCormack did not have a driving licence at the time of filming, and therefore for the scenes in which his character Harland is driving the car, the car is actually being towed by a truck.
As of late 2019/early 2020, Olivia Cooke and Ben Hardy are in a relationship after meeting on the set of 'Pixie'.
The three main characters in the film Pixie, Frank and Harland are all Irish, but in real life Daryl McCormack (Harland) is the only actor that is Irish. Both Ben Hardy (Frank) and Olivia Cooke (Pixie) are English and therefore do an Irish accent.
The film was shot entirely on location in Ireland.
