Starring Chris Pratt is one of his earlier roles before superstardom, we see how he has changed yet remained the same. His character in this is somewhat similar to his character we normally see him in nowadays. The film's premise is what one would expect. It is silly, and over the top but it is fun and not to take serious.
Nothing really clever but there is enough entertainment and fantasy to enjoy. Sure the film could have been better given its premise and at times is very predictable but its a given, not to expect much. Deep in the Valley is somewhat like those early 2010 Asylum teen comedies yet better and less raunchy. There are some nudity (not "The Asylum" level much) and those reviews claiming there isn't much have watched it on television or a censored version. Over 13 years since its release, this film is seemingly completely forgotten among Chris Pratt films.

Tracy Morgan, Chris Pratt, Scott Caan, and several really hot actresses cannot make this sophomoric story work. It could be a great movie for a junior high boys' sleepover; there's no nudity that I noticed despite the "Parents Guide" (sic,) so not much to offend those who are put off by it.
I had to keep watching to see TM's five minutes in the film, and then to see if there was anything to justify the rating here in the last third, but there wasn't.
Not the worst flick I've ever seen, but in the bottom tenth for sure.
One of the most innocent films I've ever seen!
Some raunchy language but outside of that, just farce and slapstick.
Alright, first up. This film is intended to be what it is; a soft-core pornography with a storyline. Intended to be watched with a brain-dead mind, whilst lazing around on a Sunday morning. It could be watched with either your spouse, partners, but NEVER with your parents/kids around.
This film is okay-ish if you are not too over-analyzing the content. After all, it is not going to be nominated to some film festivals or something.
There is no full-frontal nudity; fleshes are being thrown around, but not too much. Should be okay, especially to those who wants to spark the flame, as they say.
The premise has been done numerous times, so there is no guessing the ending.
Again; I'd say that this is an okay film, nothing to shout about. However, given the circumstances, this is way better than some of the soft-core film Hollywood is churning nowadays.

If 3 14-year-old boys got together to make porn (boys that obviously know NOTHING about women, sex, or porn) THIS is what they would come up with.
I couldn't finish it. Definitely one of the worst movies ever made.

"Carl" (Brendan Hines) is a decent, young man who just happens to be in a relationship with a woman named "Tracy" (Charlotte Salt) who is extremely controlling and never lets him make a decision on his own. Recognizing this, his best friend "Lester Watts" (Chris Pratt) openly advises Carl to end his relationship with her and move on. However, considering that Lester constantly gets drunk, is addicted to pornographic movies and doesn't have a girlfriend of his own, Carl dismisses Lester's suggestions and essentially allows Tracy to walk all over him. Then one day, a magical booth appears on Lester's doorstep which transports him and Lester to another dimension that is based upon several porn films which Lester knows all too well. And while Lester considers this to be paradise, Carl is not at all happy with this sudden change of events and simply desires to return to his previous sad relationship with Tracy. The problem is that there is a sadistic police detective named "Rod Cannon" (Scott Caan) who considers both Lester and Carl to be trespassers in this pornographic dimension and is intent upon making their life as miserable as possible. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that, in spite of the cheap sets, bad acting and vulgar script, I actually thought this film was quite funny with both Chris Pratt and Brendan Hines working quite well together as a team. Likewise, having a number of attractive actresses like Rachel Specter (as "Bambi"), Denise Richards ("Autumn Bliss"), and Kate Albrecht ("Daphne") certainly didn't hurt this film in any way either. Be that as it may, while this film is clearly not intended for everyone, I enjoyed it for the most part, and I have rated it accordingly. Slightly above average.
A totally guy movie but nevertheless light and funny! My favorite character was Suzi Diablo (Blanca Soto)!!! Extremely extremely Gorgeous!!! And so funny!!! Blanca Soto makes Suzi Diablo very funny and quite entertaining! Loved this funny side!! A very, very gorgeous and talented actress!!

Yeah, do yourself a favor and ignore the bad ratings from people with no sense of humor. Chris Pratt is hysterical. If you are looking to find a bunch of nudity, look elsewhere, this movie does have a plot and I don't actually remember any nudity. This movie is built with the general premise that "what if you got thrown into a porn world" so naturally there are a ton of porn cliches and they are surprisingly well done and very funny. If you are unfamiliar with how pornos used to be, then there is definitely a learning curve here, but it pretty much hits the nail on the head. Hopefully one day I run into Chris Pratt so I can tell him how great he is in this movie. Shame on the haters, I really doubt they actually watched the whole movie.

This movie is the most beatiful romantic film ever. Watch it with your wife.
This movie is not a serious movie. It is fun and silly and should be watched when that is what you are looking for. It is a great movie that pairs fantasy and adventure where two friends travel to a pornographic themed fantasy world. It is completely hilarious and sexy and just all around great entertainment.
