I will award this groundhog day drama a 3 star, because it has a noteworthy story and some likeable acting. i havent yet been impressed by afro-american filmaking, so this raised my eyebrow , and even though its made on a nickle and a dime budget it has some remarkabilities over it.and the low cost is truly reflected in the choice of score , cast and location.
its a film about cancer, death and loss. its the path you choose in life thats being scrootinised and analysed , and the 5 phases of sorrowcrises. i did like the idea about selfconfrontation, and it could actually have been even more developed and fantasised. the story aint original, but its confusingly nice.
for me , the grumpy old man who in these day are entering the same kind of stage in life, it gave some definite moments of reminisense, so if youre not squemish on the production or the ghost of low budget hanging over it, then its a small recommend.
