When Holly feeds Sophie for the first time Sophie rejects the food which looks like pureed carrots. They get all over her face. When Sophie starts eating the snack put down by Messer her face is clean.
When the baby first came home after Children Protection Service and start crying after a sleep while Eric and Holly were discussing about the costs, Eric drinks alcohol. After each camera view when they talk to the baby, his beer changes in his hands.
At Sophie's first birthday party, the neighbors talk to Holly and Messer as if they've never met them. However, earlier in the movie when they show a video of a Christmas party with Allison being pregnant, the neighbors, Holly and Messer are all at that party as well.
