Chairman of Disney Experiences Josh D’Amaro revealed over the weekend new details about the much-anticipated Villains Land at Walt Disney World. At the D23 Brazil fan event, D’Amaro presented a preview of the attraction which promised the most infamous and nefarious characters from the Disney universe.

Disney officially confirmed the Orlando-based land at D23 in Anaheim in August, teasing appearances from Ursula, Gaston and the Evil Queen.

The presentation in Brazil revealed 13 characters from Disney movies who would be inspiring the land. The Sky Original Film will premiere the film on the Sky Cinema platform on December 13 as a centerpiece of their Christmas offering, alongside their extensive catalog of movies available on demand.

The film is based on the bestselling book written by Carys Bexington, illustrated by Kate Hindley, and published by Macmillan. The book mashes up two classic tales: Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Clement Clarke Moore’s poem, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas (also known as “A Visit from St Nicholas”).

Greg Hildebrandt, the admired artist and illustrator who created movie posters for the original Star Wars and Clash of the Titans, drew Marvel characters and designed iconic 1970s calendars that celebrated the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has died. He was 85.

Hildebrandt died in Denville, New Jersey, his son, Greg Jr., told The Hollywood Reporter. For the past five months, he had been dealing with a serious side effect from a heart medication.

The artist, who frequently partnered with his late twin brother, Tim Hildebrandt, also illustrated covers for DC Comics and trading cards for an epic 1994 Marvel Masterpieces set; painted artwork for Dungeons & Dragons calendars; and designed covers for the 1981 Black Sabbath album Mob Rules and many LPs from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Without having access to film stills and publicity photos and given a very tight deadline by 20th Century Fox, the brothers painted the “Style B” poster for the U.

For Disney, all eyes are on their two major releases to make waves in the box office: Moana 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King. With excitement and curiosity surrounding the two huge sequels, they will surely top the holiday box office.

Starting with Moana 2, the sequel to the 2016 Disney animated hit, it is one track to earn over $100 million during the Thanksgiving week. According to the tracking service Quorum, around $75-82 million of which will be gained from Friday to Sunday.

In 2022, Haart was fired from Elite World Group, the modeling agency she and Scaglia ran together. The agency has represented A-list models such as Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk, among others. In response, Haart sued Scaglia for firing her when she had 50% ownership of the company. Company documents later showed that she had 49.9 percent, leaving Scaglia in control.

A judge threw out Haart’s case in 2023, but Haart continued to advocate for herself. In the last few days, the original dismissal of the case was overturned by New York State’s highest court, and Haart is now prepared to take Scaglia to court for a divorce and restitution.

Thanks to breakout roles in the Scream revival, Netflix's Wednesday and this year's Beetlejuice sequel, Jenna Ortega is fast becoming one of the most sought-after young actors in Hollywood, so it probably won't come as much of a surprise to learn that she's being courted by Marvel Studios.

According to scooper Mttsh, Ortega is now in talks for an undisclosed Marvel Cinematic Universe role.

It's always worth noting that Marvel meets with a lot of talent, but if Ortega has actually entered negotiations for an upcoming project, there's a good chance the trades will get hold of the story before too long.

Even if she is in talks, there's no guarantee that things will work out. Ortega has a busy schedule ahead, with a lead role in Taika Waititi's Klara and the Sun adaptation, and an untitled Trey Edward Shults film that will co-star The Weeknd and Barry Keoghan.

We only saw a few of the great villains and characters from the Batman rogues' gallery represented, with some hints of what might have come if the franchise continued under Burton's eye. The first feature film to be released by Walt Disney animation was, as most know, David Hand's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in 1937. Walt Disney himself, of course, had been working in animation for over 15 years at that point, having founded Laugh-o-Gram Studios in 1921. It was at that studio where Disney developed his taste for well-worn fairy tales, making shorts based on "Little Red Riding Hood," "Jack and the Beanstalk," "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," "Cinderella," and "Alice in Wonderland." That last film provided fodder for a long series of Alice Comedies that launched Walt Disney Production in 1923. Sometimes, some of the most popular games around are really strange ones that make you question whether or not they are real. The game PowerWash Simulator lets players visit multiple expansive and colorful environments that are, unfortunately, all covered in dirt. Now, in an ironic twist of fate, one of the messiest characters of all time will have his swamp made squeaky clean in the new Dlc pack for the game. A collaboration between DreamWorks and FuturLabs will add various locations from the popular Shrek franchise to be cleaned up.

Lewis Carroll's 1871 fable "Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There" features a notable scene wherein the young titular protagonist runs across a pair of whimsically dunderheaded identical twins while lost in an alternate dimension. The characters are named Tweedledee and Tweedledum and are based on numerous 18th-century folk poems variously attributed to John Byron, John Pope, and Jonathan Swift. In an early epigram by Byron, the two characters agree to have a battle but are startled by a crow, and forget to fight each other. It wouldn't be until the publication of "Through the Looking Glass," and John Tenniel's illustrations therein, that Tweedledee and Tweedledum would be depicted as identical twins.

Transformers One has come in below expectations, allowing Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to hold on to the top spot at the domestic box office for the third week in a row.

Analysts predicted $30 million to $40 million debut for Paramount's animated prequel, which only ended up taking in $25 million from 3,978 venues. The movie - which had a reported budget of $75 million - also made $14 million internationally, for a global total of $39 million.

Tim Burton's long-awaited sequel added $26 million from 4,172 theaters, bringing its domestic total to $225 million, and $329.7 million worldwide.
