Now that The Hangover III trailer has been released, proving that series is perfectly find with going from good too bad to a farce of itself, it.s time for another like-minded comedy to come out and raunchily saunter its way up to $100 million at the box office. There isn.t much surprise that the comedic seeds of one should sprout into the other. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Hangover II co-screenwriter Scot Armstrong is set to make his directorial debut with Search Party, formerly called Road to Nardo, a misadventure-filled comedy picked up by Universal from Gold Circle, responsible for last year.s surprise musical hit Pitch Perfect. Armstrong also co-wrote this script, with help from newcomer Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller, who directed the direct-to-dvd American Pie Presents Beta House, and yes that last part was said with disdain. Luckily, Armstrong has a longer resume of mostly...

Before we go any further: Neal H. Moritz (The Fast and the Furious) will not be applying the powerful cinematic qualities of Andrei Tarkovsky‘s Stalker to the story of Sleeping Beauty. Instead, THR informs us the producer has thrown his considerable weight behind a modern-day spin on this classic fairy tale — one with a creepy and (technically) illegal twist!
In this incarnation, a young charmer awakens a beautiful, dormant woman who turns out to be “a pesky stalker [...] that he can’t get rid of” (THR’s above-the-line promise that this would be “a stalker take” had me thinking much more ominous things. Alas.) No title is set, but, on the screenwriting side of things, Moritz‘s Original Film have hired the relatively unknown and, from what I can gather, mostly inexperienced duo of Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller– unless the latter’s directing credit on American Pie Presents Beta House...

Check out the new "Attack on Al" clip from the upcoming killer car creature feature Super Hybrid, which hits the streets on August 23rd on Blu-ray and DVD from Anchor Bay Entertainment.
In the clip, the killer car claims another unsuspecting victim and reveals it is not quite what it seems.
Synopsis:
Late one night, a mysterious car is brought into the Chicago police impound garage after a deadly traffic accident. The on-call mechanics soon discover the car has a mind of its own. With hundreds of horsepower and two tons of reinforced steel at its command, it's a seemingly unstoppable killing machine capable of outrunning -- and outwitting -- humans.
Directed by Eric Valette, the film stars Oded Fehr (The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, Resident Evil Franchise), Shannon Becker (You Are Here, American Pie Presents Beta House), and Ryan Kennedy (The Invisible, "Hellcats").

American Pie lovers (all both of yous) will be happy to hear the news that most of the film’s stars have signed on for one more sequel called American Reunion. It’s not that we hate the movie—we actually quite enjoyed it when it came out—but any goodwill toward the film was lost with each subsequent sequel (American Pie 2, American Wedding) and spinoff (American Pie Presents Band Camp, American Pie Presents The Naked Mile, American Pie Presents Beta House, American Pie Presents The Book Of Love) that came out of the franchise. But now, there will be (at least) one last hurrah.
American Reunion has signed every major actor from the film (though Alyson Hannigan is still a maybe) to reprise the roles they played in the 1999 film, with Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, and Seann William Scott among them. If you weren’t really paying attention back then,...
