Robert Stadlober was cast as Johann 'Falco' Hölzel but left production only days before filming would have started. He was replaced by Manuel Rubey.
For legal reasons, the names of Falco's wife and daughter were changed for the film. Falco's wife's real name is Isabella Vitkovic (instead of Jacqueline A.) and his daughter's name is Katharina Bianca (instead of Carolina Tanja).

Manuel Rubey was first set to play Wickerl Adam but after Robert Stadlober left production, he replaced him in the main role as Johann 'Falco' Hölzel.
