Kondracki, the director surname sounds Polish. It's not an Ukrainian name, it looks and sounds very much as ethnically Polish name because Polish names usually end in 'ski' or 'cki', Ukrainian ones are usually ending in 'o'. And we know Ukraine didn't exist as an independent country until 1922 and it became a country fully only after World War II.
