Kondracki, the director surname sounds Polish. It's not an Ukrainian name, it looks and sounds very much as ethnically Polish name because Polish names usually end in 'ski' or 'cki', Ukrainian ones are usually ending in 'o'. And we know Ukraine didn't exist as an independent country until 1922 and it became a country fully only after World War II. Before that period Ukrainians lived between Poland and Russia for the longest times, and mixed with Poles, so it is highly likely that the director has actually Polish roots or mixed, as the director's surname - the spelling plus writing, looks and sounds Polish.
