Even though the DVD and Blu-Ray release has only 8 deleted scenes. A lot more footage happened to have been removed since the re-shoots took place. It has been confirmed that there has been an original cut that was shown in the test screening and had a good response, but the changes were due to parodies not being up to date and the film almost being rated R.
There is an image of a scene spoofing The Hunger Games (2012) on the back of the DVD cover, but that scene was never in the final film or the Deleted & Extended Scenes section. The first trailer had moments that were never in the deleted scenes section of the DVD.
Fans of the series are searching for all the missing footage of Scary Movie 5.
