Because of an actor getting lost in route to the set, producer Paul Barrett had to volunteer for the part which included being tossed from a boat into freezing cold pond water.
The original title of Night Feeders was "the Feeding" but by odd coincidence another North Carolina production about a werewolf was also titled "the Feeding" causing us to change the title to "Night Feeders".
Because of the remote location, the film crew was constantly interrupted by deer hunters crossing the property with deer carcasses. Thank goodness none of the crew looked like deer.
95% of the movie was shot within a 200 foot area.
The interior of the farmhouse was fitted with removable walls and also doubled as the hospital. During shooting, vandals destroyed the sets. Fortunately, all the major shooting was completed and only a few pick up shots were needed.
