Wishbone's Romance

This Rawhide story veered into the humorous as Paul Brinegar and James Murdock come into town for supplies after a stampede caused a sudden shortage. It was there that Brinegar impressed a large Amazonian woman storekeeper played by Marie Windsor, femme fatale of the 40s and 50s noir films and she gets ideas.

Her brothers Claude Akins, Kelly Thorsden, and Don Megowan also get some ideas. Like the idea that Wishbone is the man who jilted their sister years ago. It's a shotgun wedding they have in mind.

There's no way that Eric Fleming and Clint Eastwood are going to allow the trail herd to be short a cook even if it is Wishbone. Herbert Anderson playing the sheriff is of no avail.

Well you know that Paul Brinegar went the whole run of the Rawhide show so he didn't get married. But watch this episode to see the affair Windsor is settled.
