This is a reference to Patrick Wymark who played a business tycoon in a major television series of the day, The Power Game (1965), with one of her trade mark malapropisms dropped in with "typhoon".

Eli is on the lookout for a new secretary, none of them tickle his pickle, until the beautiful Nemone walks through the door, naturally Nellie isn't amused with Eli's choice.
Ok, so first off, you have to take this in its context, made all the way back in 1968, so there was obviously going to come the point where an episode felt very much from a time gone by, and this was it.
Take it for what it is, it's super funny, I love the way that Nellie is angered by the presence of Nemone, she doesn't hold back in making her feelings known, once again she muddles her words beautifully.
I will forever love Margaret Nolan, a glorious, wonderful, beautiful actress, not the most taxing role she ever had, here more so for her exquisite beauty than talents here, fortunately bigger roles would await her. I seem to remember her playing a Nemone in Steptoe and Son.
Glorious comedy, 9/10.
