Another 'Animal Show' That Doesn't Really Work

Kim and Craig take in a stray sheepdog, and soon end up with a litter of puppies in need of homes.

This is one of those episodes that seems to be pieced together to make a full show. The whole bit with Jack Lalanne seems tacked on to pad the running time. Lucy's crack about Harry NOT being "the pick of the litter" gets big applause.

Sherry Alberoni may not be recognizable by her face, but Gen Xers/cartoon fans will certainly recognize the voice of the crabby Alexandra on JOSIE & THE PUSSYCATS.

Next to Benji, Lord Nelson the sheepdog was probably the hardest-working canine in '60s television. He also played Mr. Mooney's dog on THE LUCY SHOW.

You can skip this one, it's not very funny and is noteworthy only for its' use of some quick-cut scenes as the Carters try and find takers for the pups.
