It's your typical romantic comedy 90% of its duration, but the ending made all the difference. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just say it becomes rather poignant due to its omitting of melodrama. Instead it has one of those "life goes on" messages and does it pretty good. This created a very realistic vibe by the movie's end. The movie wasn't ambitious yet it wanted to be different, and I appreciated that. The movie knew its boundaries and excelled within it. The lead actress is very attractive as well. I hate to say the looks of an actress can sway my opinion, but I'm pretty bias that way. Its definitely not as good as My Sassy Girl but it's way better than say My tutor Friend.
Gwangshiki dongsaeng gwangtae (English Title: When Romance Meets Destiny) revolves around two brothers whom both have never told a woman "I love you".
Gwang-sik is naturally shy and his confidence with the opposite sex is non-existent. He has been in love with the same woman since his senior year of University but has never expressed his feelings, even though she seems interested in him as well.
Gwang-tae is outgoing and has no problems getting a woman into bed. However, his inability to take relationships seriously prevents him from having a meaningful connection to women.
Both men have to learn to move past their romantic blunders in order to truly find the love they desire, even if it means breaking their own hearts.
Humorous dialogue and believable characters make this a romantic comedy at its best. All the actors (main and supporting) are well suited in their roles and keep the movie interesting and funny beyond what the script dictates.
Romantic nay sayers will have trouble disliking this one.

I decided to give this film a go seeing that its rated well here on IMDb. Alright, I actually managed to finish the movie but was cringing throughout. To those who has not watched it, please do dot.
Who was the lead actor? I was expecting the dude who failed to make his feelings known back in college day, muster up courage to get on with his crush years later. That did not happen. Instead, the writer decided to add in a stupid marathon love story starring a fugly guy, of which takes up half of the movie time.
To make it worse, The female lead ends up with the dude's friend. Painful to watch.
