the storyline is quite traditional. the rich boy with a well hidden heartache meets poor but goodhearted girl. but here is where the tradition stops. because Martin is prince charming in person and though Monita has heart bigger then Argentina she goes through life fighting - mostly in boxing ring.
here is what makes this story so special to me. it has very well portioned humor in it present in every episode though it is also dealing with serious problems. the writers are geniuses. it has incredibly well written, casted and portrayed characters. starting with mischievous Marcelo Mazzarello, slightly hysteric Alejandro Awada, pleasantly unpleasant Carlos Belloso, continuing with arrogant Carla Petersn, theatrical Claudia Fontan, lovably confused Griselda Siciliani, always helpful though slightly crazy Fabiana Garcia Lago and Monica Ayos and finishing with adorable teen cast of Elias Viñoles, Ines Palombo, Nicholas D'Agostino and Telma Fardin. though the best one is definitely Ornella Fazio - the girl is a natural. it has the very best opening credits I have ever seen. the music is chosen appropriately to the mood of the situation and is so forming quite important part of the story.
and then there is the main reason why is this novela so irresistible. and the reason are Facundo Arana and Natalia Oreiro. you can see that the characters are written for them and the story is using to the fullest the incredible chemistry of this couple. they are friends. they are passionate. they desire each other. they are falling in love with each other. they try to fight against these feelings. and you are right there with them feeling every single heartbeat.
I have been expecting a lot from this novela and I got more. so much more.

I came to write my support to this simple story because it really deserves it. Its a soap opera, OK. Maybe seems like only one more of the endless list of TV shows in Argentina but what you can really appreciate is the performance of every single actor and actress in their own character. Adding their own personality to each one of them i think was the key. Lovely Natalia Oreiro was left behind by her awesome co workers, since there was always a good excuse to dress her up in beautiful outfits, but for me it was just to make a good balance with the rest. The hilarious performance by Carlos Belloso and Griselda Siciliani were the BEST. Also Carla Peterson, awesome! But really, really. All of them were hilarious! Even Facundo Arana, that was supposed to be a serious business man, was hilarious. You need to understand Spanish in order to appreciate all the ways of speech, the jokes and some other things that actually you will only appreciate by being Argentinian. Anyway... This is awesome. Full support for the whole cast & crew. The story also has good climax, well presented, and you end up getting emotional with the love stories between characters. Really worth it.
I have watched this series in part with my wife. this is nothing uncommon . But after some time my wife was so hard 'glued' to this series so that she preferred to keep the last 50 episodes recorded till the end of August, ie when the series ended , and then nearly once per month to watch them again, again, again ,again (!) and again(!!!) so that my nerves are trembled very much with her so strong adherence.
Back to the series, the scenario seems I think a little childish, comparing to other Greek and American movies and series, consisting of many short stories combined into a bigger one, quite silly, but still has many 'glows' of cleverness throughout the series. One of the most impressive motto was of Quique's ' sorry that I don't hit the door as it did not done anything against me'
As for example for the short stories, the most awesome story was of the Russian close of Monita that lasted for 3 episodes. On other side , the funniest characters are Martin's cousins Debi and Miguel who tries to unsuccessfully persuade us he is a bad guy. Falucho however is more persuading as the bad guy of the story and Constanza is also quite convincing as a very bad spouse. Nearly the same goes to Uribe In Greece the series had different names Sarita Munoz and Juan Quesada
Sorry for my Greek-lish

This soap opera is nothing but exiting, i mean, it's like any love story, the rich man fall in love with the poor but sweet girl, however Facundo Arana and Natalia Oreiro's chemistry makes it exiting and of course if you are a Facundo's fan you will find him incredibly handsome and cute. it's full of crazy adventures that Martin and Monita must live, and this is what makes this soap opera very funny. Quique is also a very funny character. They have to fight for their romance, people like Constanza (Martin's ex wife), wants to separate them, but of course they will win and finally get marry! so cute! this comment is too long, i don't even kn ow what to write here! it says your comment is not ready for submission.!! i don't know what to write!!. Well bye bye.
