This is a sweet story with familiar voices that leaves you feeling very entertained. I never knew that in some countries (Australia, I am told, is one) where they really do race zebras. This film is about a little zebra that could, but not without first having to deal with the vicissitudes of competition, prejudice and motivated determination. Not usually my type of film, I nevertheless found myself getting involved with the processes of all the characters. Some things are universals, and this film focuses on some of the ones that are especially dear to me. I highly recommend the film to parents that want to go with their children to a movie but don't want to be bored out of their minds! I gave it an 8 rather than a 9 or a 10 because as I said, it's not really my kind of film. I go for heavy drama as a rule. So, in stepping out of my usual genre, I was pretty surprised at how pleasant the experience was of this film. Go and see it with your kids, or your grandchildren. Both you and they will have stuff to talk about on the way home.
