And, the love birds are here again! Making the most out of ‘Sweet-November’, the much-in-love, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were seen together on a ‘Coffee Date’ and this time, we mean Coffee and not Koffee (with Karan). The love-struck couple, Shahid and Mira were seen relishing their cup of hot coffee in a ‘Gup-shup’ mode. Mira looked adorable, glowing in motherhood with a cute plump that was adding to her beauty. Shahid Kapoor, as usual rocked with his casual/sporty rough looks.

And now the news we’ve all been waiting for: “Fuller House” season two has an official return date. It’s been a long seven months since Netflix released the nostalgia overload that was the show’s first season, especially since we all binged all 13 episodes that first weekend (right?), but we only have to wait a few more: December 9 marks the show’s return.

There’s been no indication that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will join their former castmates — quite the opposite, in fact — but the ensemble remains otherwise intact. Though Netflix is famously tight-lipped about the number of viewers who tune into its shows and movies, Symphony Advanced Media reports that the first season of “Fuller House” received an average of 14.4 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic, a surprisingly high number. (Critical reception wasn’t as enthusiastic.

Before the 2016 Primetime Emmys began on Sunday, young actors Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo took to the stage to step in for Bruno Mars, performing Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” THR reports. Judging by how many attendees were on their feet for the performance, it’s safe to say the kids were a hit.
All three actors have previously showcased their musical talents. Brown uploaded a video of herself singing John Lennon’s “Imagine,” McLaughlin began his career by playing Simba in the Broadway version of “The Lion King,” and Matarazzo has performed on Brodway in both “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” and “Les Misérables.”

The following editorial was co-authored by the Oscar-nominated team behind “Virguna,” the director Orlando von Einsiedel and producer Joanna Natasegara, whose short documentary “The White Helmets” launches on Netflix globally today.
As the U.S, and Russia agree upon another tentative ceasefire in Syria, civilians on the ground are not holding their breath that the fighting will end. Syrian civilians have been let down far too many times. Instead, the Syrian people are continuing to do as they have done for the past few years, taking humanitarian matters into their own hands to minimize loss of life.
The White Helmets, a group of nearly 3,000 civilian volunteer rescue workers, exemplify this spirit. These are the men and women who run into smoldering rubble, the aftermath of airstrikes, dig out the dead and injured. They come from all walks of life and have each pledged to save anyone in need, no matter their creed,...

Why aren’t there more good gay movies? We hear this complaint at AfterElton.com a lot, and we’ve even made it a few times ourselves (although we think the results of this poll prove that there are more good movies than many of us think!).
There are surely many reasons why more “mainstream” movies don’t include gay or bisexual themes, but no doubt one of them is heterosexual discomfort – not just discomfort on the part of audiences and network executives, but also discomfort on the part of critics and others to champion these films.
This is where our poll of AfterElton.com readers on the 50 Greatest Gay Movies comes in. We can think of no better way to encourage the creation of more good gay movies than to praise and support the existence of past good gay movies!
How does this list compare to our previous poll?...

"You need to use the Internet to have any career at all," says actor David Blue, who plays the recurring role of Cliff, Marc St. James' (Michael Urie) love interest on Ugly Betty. What was once the domain of paper and ink now fills cyberspace. Casting has gone from the hand-to-stack exercise of sorting through headshots to the click-and-scroll of digital images and videos. And in direct response, actors are turning to the Internet for support, social networking, and self-promotion. They are creating new roles for themselves: that of a "cyber self." Blue uses his MySpace page combo-style — personally and professionally. "MySpace has acted as a site where fans and people interested in keeping up with me can hear what's happening on a regular basis," he says. Actor and comedian Jason Stuart, who played the recurring role of Dr. Steven Michael Thomas on My Wife and Kids and co-stars in...

Lynch, Vilanch feel 'Loved'
NEW YORK -- The 40-Year-Old-Virgin co-star Jane Lynch and comedy writer Bruce Vilanch have joined the ensemble cast of the gay-themed coming-of-age indie Tru Loved.
The film centers on Tru (Najarra Townsend), the straight daughter of a lesbian couple (Alexandra Paul, Cynda Williams) who faces challenges when her family moves from San Francisco to a conservative Southern California suburb. Openly lesbian actress Lynch will play Ms. Maple, one of Tru's teachers and the girlfriend of Tru's favorite teacher (Alec Mapa). Openly gay comedian Vilanch will play Daniel, the adopted father of Tru's love interest (Jake Abel).
Jasmine Guy, Matthew Thompson, Marcia Wallace (The Simpsons) and Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek) round out the cast of writer-director Stewart Wade's comedy-drama. The film is produced by Wade, Antonio Brown and David Avallone. Principal photography began this month and wraps Aug. 2.
Lynch's credits include Best in Show, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Alvin and the Chipmunks and The Rocker. Vilanch, the subject of documentary Get Bruce, starred on Broadway in Hairspray.
Wade recently wrote and directed Film and Music Entertainment's gay-themed Coffee Date, starring Wilson Cruz, Jonathan Silverman, Sally Kirkland and Deborah Gibson.
