Bus Life is a TV show about kid's life to and fro on a bus. It has the four main characters - Rick (the school stud and popular amongst everyone) Jess (your average teenage girl with a secret boyfriend who is hooked onto her phone), Sally (a kind sweetheart and very intelligent) and Eddie (a troublemaker who wishes he was as cool as Rick). There are three subculture groups on the bus - the radical skateboarders, the shadow-clinging Goths and the higher-than-average brainy kids.
Sounds dull, doesn't it? Not in the slightest.
The kids have to face all sorts of troubles on the bus, no matter how well it's going smoothly. The humour and wit is carefully packaged and although not as in-your-face (as the dire ''That's So Raven'') the show shows it a lot at times, taking the mick out of the characters subtly (I mean, if you actually think the skater chick's quote of, ''I can skate and .... I'm totally cool!'' was words of a Goddess, then you need to see a therapist). The characters have well-written development, the story lines are excellent and there's plenty of different characters to relate to. All this fitted into 5 minutes. Ace.
