The German armored car is a replica owned by production designer, Ken Wilson.
Some of the aircraft in the film are real and others a computer generated. The real planes were filmed in Conneaut, Ohio in September 2004, including a P51 Mustang.
Only one actor spoke French (Brandy Seymour) and the others learned their lines phonetically from her.
The M3A3 Stuart Tank used in the film was provided by Ian Algie, and actually saw action in WWII.
Creature appliances were molded by makeup effects artist Shawn Collins from actor life casts.
