Playing dead has been good for Manny Jacinto. As Jason Mendoza, a lovable, doofy airhead, Jacinto is known for stealing scenes in NBC's acclaimed comedy The Good Place. That's not putting down his role of security guard in Untold Stories of the ER, but now Jacinto is getting the chance to shine on screen in ways he never dreamed of—and getting recognized off screen as a result. "I think, and I think it's kind of the same with the rest of the cast, especially the babies of the cast, [the biggest change] is being recognized more," Jacinto told E! News. Take a recent airport encounter Jacinto had. He was flying in to Los Angeles from Vancouver and he was flagged to go for further security...

Exclusive: Scot Cru has left Grb Studios, the producer and distributor best known for its long-running A&E reality hit Intervention.
I hear that Cru has departed the company less than six months after he was promoted to president. He joined the business, which was formerly known as Grb Entertainment in July 2018 after spending 15 years working for Mark Burnett’s production company, most recently as Executive Vice President, International for United Artist Media.
It’s not clear exactly for what Cru will do next, which Gary R. Benz, founder and CEO of Grb, told Deadline that he was leaving for a bigger role.
Benz told Deadline, “When Scott left Grb Studios he told me he was heading to work for a larger company. We appreciate his time here and wish him great luck in his new endeavors. Grb Studios will be attending Miptv next week with a full sales team, and announcing a new international co-production.

It’s been said that sex is like pizza — even when it’s bad, it’s good. But pizza almost never lands you in the emergency room. And sex does, as TLC’s “Sex Sent Me to the ER” will prove on Saturday. The show revisits real emergency room sex stories, as told by physicians and the couples who got a little overzealous between the sheets — with a little bit of help from actors doing re-enactments. You know, there are some things we just don't think about as much as we should. What is the meaning of life? What would traffic be like if we could fly? What if a dumpster was dropped on my face? Maybe we don't want to think too much about that last one, as we all want to be able to sleep at night. But, thanks to "Untold Stories of the ER" (Fri. at 10:00 p.m. on Discovery Fit & Health, repeats Sat at 10:00 p.m. on TLC), we can get an idea of what that might be like. Short answer? Bloody...

If you're already feeling like a post-Thanksgiving lump on Friday, you may want to watch "Untold Stories of the ER" (Discovery Fit & Health, 10:00 p.m. Et). No, it won't help you digest that wad of food that's probably still sitting uncomfortably in your stomach, but you can at least comfort yourself in knowing that you aren't sitting in an ER where people like the guy in this exclusive clip might be running around. In the clip, we meet a guy who just can't be held down -- or at least can't be held down by less than a big group...

Winston summoned for 'Duty'
Susan Winston, a former executive producer on ABC's Good Morning America, has been tapped to executive produce the upcoming syndicated show Jury Duty.
The strip, from Vincent Dymon's Radar Entertainment and independent distributor Foster/Tailwind, is a court show in which celebrities act as jury members. The show is presided over by Bruce Cutler, who came to fame in the '80s for defending John Gotti and is now serving as the defense attorney for Phil Spector in the music producer's murder trial.
Duty has been cleared in 70% of the country, including the top three markets of New York (WPIX), Los Angeles (KCAL) and Chicago (WCIU).
Trifecta Entertainment & Media handles national ad sales on the show, which launches in September. Dymon is also looking for a cable network partner to air the show as well.
Winston's credits also include CBS Morning News, Spike TV's Wide World of Spike, TLC's Untold Stories of the ER and WE's "Designer to the Stars: Kari Whitman."...
