- TriviaIn the scene, where Dieter is waiting for Verona to come down from here apartment, you can see Dieter ringing several times. In one shot you see the doorbell panel showing "Feltbusch" at the top, and right below her a sign "Trickompany", which is the producing animation studio.
- GoofsMany anachronistic song references are featured in this movie, like mentions of Walter Schachner's song "Anton aus Tirol", released in 1991 but mentioned by Ralph Siegel in the late 70s in the movie or the singing of "Midnight Lady" in 1982, while it was written in 1986, factual errors like the image of the celebrities who look like their prototypes from the 2000s instead of the time the story is set, the incorrect writings in the Soviet Union (an incorrect combination or latin and cyrillic letters in the newspapers and the name "Blue System"), as well as audio goofs, like the voice of Bernd Clüver can be heard when Thomas Anders is singing in Bohlen's studio instead of the real Anders or his voice actor. But they are clearly deliberate due to the satiric content of this movie.
- Crazy creditsThe opening credits are shown over animated pages from Bohlen's book.

Sure, this one isn't really a blockbuster, nor does it target such a position. "Dieter" is the first name of a quite popular German musician, who is either loved or hated for his kind of acting and thats exactly what this movie is about. It is based on the autobiography "Dieter Bohlen" wrote a few years ago but isn't meant to be accurate on that. The movie is filled with some sexual offensive content (at least for American standard) which is either amusing (not for the other "actors" of course) or dumb - it depends on your individual kind of humor or on you being a "Bohlen"-Fan or not. Technically speaking there isn't much to criticize. Speaking of me I find this movie to be an OK-movie.
