Nothing overly explicit. No sex or nudity, just some kissing/hugging, people at a BBQ wearing bikinis.
Opal Dream has multiple endings depending on which copy of the film you have. In one ending Kellyanne is implied vaguely to have died, and in the other ending, Kellyanne is blatantly said to have died. Throughout the film she gets very sick and depressed over the loss of her imaginary friends.
Many of the townspeople tease Kellyanne and make cruel comments to her family, calling her miner father a "ratter" and Kellyanne a "retard". They beat up her father (not graphic) and they spray graffiti about his supposed ratting all over town. Later on many of them feel guilty for their behavior.
Kellyanne's imaginary friends die in what's implied to be a mine collapsing on them. Kellyanne's brother finds them and comes to believe that they were real.
Some verbal arguing between family members.

Not really any swearing, but "damn" and "jesus" are said a few times. "hell, retard, loser, ratter, freak, misfit, baby" are all said as well.

None, although what the guests at the pool party are drinking may or may not be alcohol.
Kellyanne's grief over the death of her imaginary friends as well as her illness and eventual death is all very intense and might bother some viewers, especially younger viewers.
Parents who find the idea of imaginary friends to be abnormal might not want their kids to see the film since the film's adults eventually side with Kellyanne and even hold a funeral for the dead friends.
The bullying towards the father is rather disturbing.
