I saw this a couple weeks ago at a screening in Denver. Thought their flier looked interesting so I just went. At first I wasn't sure what to make of the film as it seemed like a normal light comedy about a Woody Allenesque loser type and then it took a drastic turn and became a really interesting psychological black comedy. The style was pretty rough overall, probably because of the low budget they were working with, but the writing, directing, performances and a lot of the look of the film was really good. The music was amazing. I couldn't stop thinking about the movie for at least a week or so. It really affected my girlfriend who came with me too. I bought a copy of the soundtrack through their website and listen to it all the time. Hopefully they'll be selling DVD's too soon. I'd love to see it again because I found it really layered and a fun watch even though it gets kinda dark later in the film. If you like movies that are actually about something, try to do something different, and can live without amazing special effects, you might like this one too.
