Question: Scoop on Episode 300 of Grey’s Anatomy? —@ThePompeoMethod via Twitter
Ausiello: With It breaking box office records, I’m hearing rumblings that the Krista Vernoff-penned outing — which bears the Hamilton-esque title “Who Dies, Who Lives, Who Tells Your Story” — may feature a frightening, possibly dangerous clown.
Question: Will Sean Maguire be coming back to Once Upon a Time? —Sara
Ausiello: “Never say never, but… not in the immediate run of episodes,” Adam Horowitz told us when we delivered your question.

Question: I’m already having Walking Dead withdrawal. Got anything on Season 8 yet? — Bud
Ausiello: As a matter of fact, yes. Remember in the finale, when Sasha said she wasn’t giving up on Eugene, even though he’d reverted to his most spineless self? That was “a hint to what the story is,” showrunner Scott Gimple recently told TVLine. “It certainly looked like he was still a Savior. But is that going to haunt him… change him?...

Another year, another move further away from caring about pop. Whether that's pop's fault or mine, I'm not sure. But there was still plenty of great new music released in 2015, and here, according to my idiosyncratic tastes, are the best albums, or at least my favorites.
1. Wire: Wire (Pink Flag)
This is said to be the first time that Bruce Gilbert's replacement, guitarist Matthew Simms, was heavily involved in the creation of a Wire album, and the result is...the closest Wire has ever come to sounding like a Colin Newman album. I exaggerate for effect, but only slightly: most everything thrums along smoothly and motorik-ly, he takes all the lead vocals (though Graham Lewis supposedly wrote many of the lyrics), and there are none of the post-punkier outbursts of the group's previous two reunion albums, though near the end of Wire, the one-two punch of "Split Your Ends" and "Octopus" come close.

I’m not trying to score TVLine a quote on an upcoming promo for The Voice, I promise. But every season, when the Battle Rounds arrive, all I can think is, “This damn show has too much damn talent.”

How else can Gwen Stefani declare one of Team Pharrell’s showdowns her favorite Battle in show history, then leave the loser hanging without a coveted steal? And why is it that nine seasons in, declaring a winner in any given head-to-head matchup feels more challenging than ever?

The Blind Auditions on The Voice season 9 continue. So far, 19 hopefuls have been welcomed onto coach teams and many more hope to join them. Of those singers, only 29 will have the opportunity to choose a coach and begin the wildest ride of their lives.
As for the coaches, we're excited to have Gwen Stefani back in the red leather chair. Question: Any word on what’s happening with Revenge? The last few episodes have all felt very series-finale leaning. Will it be renewed or cancelled? And if we do get a Season 5, is there a major revamp in store? —Sean
Ausiello: Based on what I’m hearing about the finale, there would have to be a major revamp if the show returns for a fifth season. Actually, forget revamp — there’d have to be a whole new show.

The anthology horror film is back in the wake of the success of chapter-style horror films like The Theatre Bizarre (2011) and its announced follow-up, V/H/S (2012), the soon-to-be-released sequel V/H/S 2 (2013) and The ABC’s of Death (2012).
While this movement generates a good deal of conversation about the fondly remembered Amicus productions of the 1960’s and 1970’s like Dr. Terror’s House Of Horrors (Freddie Francis, 1965), Torture Garden (Freddie Francis, 1967), The House That Dripped Blood (Peter Duffell, 1971) and Asylum (Roy Ward Baker, 1972) among others, the comparison is not exactly accurate across the board.
While the segments of V/H/S are unified by shared visual style and a wraparound story, The Theatre Bizarre and The ABC’s of Death come off as collections of essentially unrelated horror short films loosely bound by a flimsy wraparound segment in the case of The Theatre Bizarre or a basic concept as...

This month, we’ll be running a series of special features on The Walking Dead collectibles. This is an area of The Walking Dead that has really exploded over the last year, with dozens (hundreds?) of collectibles planned to be released over the course of 2013.
For the first feature, I talked with Funko toy designer Reis O’Brien. He gave me details on upcoming Walking Dead toys, talked about the creation process, and let our readers know how they can suggest characters that Funko should work on next.
Thanks for taking the time to talk with Daily Dead. Can you tell our readers about your job at Funko?
Reis O’Brien: I’m the newest Funko toy designer. I was originally brought on to develop new product lines such as papercraft playsets and collectible tins, but it didn’t take long before I started designing Pops, Wacky Wobblers and blind box toys as well.

Fresh off a successful opening salvo of films, Fantastic Fest is proud to announce the second wave of pictures for the week of September 22-29 in Austin, Texas. As always, it looks like an impressive line-up.
And seeing how this is the film festival that has launched such films as Zombieland, Trollhunter and The Human Centipede, you'll just have to trust them. They've proven time and again they know what's good.
In addition to the line-up of 17 new films making their world, North American or Us premieres, Fantastic Fest has some great contests and one hottie of a new director in Kristen Bell.
So, without further ado, here's the info for Fantastic Fest, Second Sequence.

Tim Matheson’s name used to be synonymous with the classic‘70s frat film Animal House. But after enjoying almost 50 years in theentertainment business (not bad for a 63-year-old), Matheson has finally seemedto officially shed his Eric Stratton association.
These days, the actor/director is better known as the goldenboy of USA Networks, where he frequently works behind the camera and makes the occasionalguest appearance on shows like Burn Notice, White Collar, and Covert Affairs.
In a recent interview, Matheson talked about whether heconsiders himself more of an actor or a director, his role at USA, and theparts he’d like to explore at the network.
Q: Since you’re doing both the acting and directing, do youconsider yourself more of an actor or a director?
Tim: I think at the moment—that’s so hard. I think right nowI’m more of a director...

Weta Workshop, best known for their physical effects work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has put a big ole spotlight on a small-time horror project in the works. According to Bloody Disgusting, the five-time Academy Award-winning studio, for which Peter Jackson is a founder, is set to produce creature effects for a domestic scare called The Home, which was actually written by Eric Vespe, otherwise known as Quint from fellow movie site Ain't It Cool News. Considering director Kristoffer Aaron Morgan and Vespe made a short film called Blind in 2004 that the Weta guys loved, it makes sense when Weta's Richard Taylor says, "it's time to make Aaron and Eric's film come to life." All around, this is some great news. Independent horror paired with a big-budget effects shop... I'm smelling something tasty. The Home, "a visceral horror thriller, unfolds after a firefighter is nearly killed during a...
