From episode 1 - 26, Fergus McPhail is a rollarcoaster of fun. It follows in the footsteps of one Fergus McPhail, a young man in Year 9...He is guided by his optimistic alter ego, who guides him into the attention of Sophie Bartoli, who Fergus describes the woman of his dreams...Along the way Fergus meets up with Lambert, who become best mates. So we follow their adventures, mishaps and the occasional adolescant victory and have a lot of fun on the way...
I am a 21yr old student, and I've got to say that I haven't yet watched a show as fun, innocent and a lot of laughs as I did when watching Fergus McPhail. It is that sort of show u can watch with a loved one, family, or ya best friend and laugh and reminisce together. We can all relate to the teenage mishaps and adventures that Fergus went thru and that is why the show is so good. The story lines are always fun and filled with comic genius, and at the end leave you in an even better mood than u were prior to watching. The cast chosen were all perfect, not fake superstars but skillful actors who had the magic common touch and were all convincing in making the series Fergus McPhail the fun teenage comedy it is.
I thought each actor chosen was a perfect fit for the role each played. Mainly the young four that the show mainly focuses on. Fergus (Sean Ohlendorf) was played well, he had the fun teenage innocence yet also had the comic genius touch. And also Fergus' teenage affection, Sophie (Heli Simpson) a fine actor who could handle the emotional wave of her character...
In summary, I could go on even more on my thoughts of the show. But in short I would like to say that it is a show for all ages for all seasons for any time for anyone that likes to enjoy a show that leaves u gasping for more in its inncoent teenage comic genius. A show we can all relate to because of portrayal of teenage life, dreams and adventures... With my rating of ten out of ten, its a show I would definitely recommend other people see (whenever possible)... And best of all, being a very, very very proud Aussie, the show is Aussie made too...makes me very proud...
